Hospitality with heart. Entrepreneurial spirit with vision. We are Stefanie and Marco Zechner, the owners of ALPENLODGE FUCHSBAU. Our vision is to create a place where people feel welcome – a home away from home. What sets us apart? Warm hospitality, ingenuity, and the courage to try new things. However rare our free time may be, we prefer to spend it outdoors.

 

Whether hiking through the Brandnertal valley, tackling a via ferrata, skiing in winter, cycling, or taking a dip in cool water in summer – nature is not only our workplace, but also a source of energy and a place of retreat. We want to make this passion tangible at ALPENLODGE FUCHSBAU. Because we love to travel just as much as you do!

BERGRESTAURANT FUCHSBAU – the tradition lives on

 

Since winter 2025/26, we took over the FUCHSBAU BERGRESTAURANT from Marco's parents, Susi and Guido – a project close to our hearts, which we will continue with respect, passion, and new ideas. In winter, the restaurant is located directly in the Brandnertal ski area, and in summer, it's situated next to the downhill track of the Brandnertal Bike Park.

Rooted with the nature - ORGANIC FARM OF FAMILY ZECHNER
 

In addition to the ALPENLODGE, we have established our own organic farm on the Bürserberg. Here, calves, cattle, and cows, as well as broiler chickens, laying hens, and occasionally pigs, find a species-appropriate home. From this diversity, we produce high-quality animal and plant products, which we offer: 

• directly at the farm in Bürserberg (Matin 23, 6707 Bürserberg)

• at the farm shop in Brand (Studa 81, 6708 Brand)

• at the farm shop on the Tschengla/Bürserberg next to the valley station of the new Loischkopf cable car (Tschengla 5, Bürserberg)

• at BERGRESTAURANT FUCHSBAU (Burtscha 2, 6707 Bürserberg)

• and definitely at  ALPENLODGE FUCHSBAU (Boden 45, 6707 Bürserberg)
